Specific time frames that fall within peak season (June – October) generally require a minimum stay of two nights. Rates and minimum stay requirements may vary according to holidays and special events.
We recommend that reservations be made in advance as suites are limited. Reservations can be made by calling 413-528-6159, or through our website, or via email at email@example.com. A credit card is required to secure your reservation.
Arrivals & Departures
Check-in time is between 3 pm and 6 pm. We request that guests who will be checking in after 6 pm, let us know, so that we can make arrangements for a late check-in. Check-out time is at 11 am. Guests are welcome to arrive earlier. Although we strive to accommodate early check-in requests, suites may not be available before 3 pm. When possible, we will do our best to honor requests to accommodate early check-in or late check-out, depending on room availability.
** Guests are invited to store their luggage at The Barrington and retreat to our in-house restaurant, The Great Room for a bite or cocktail. Guests are also welcome to unwind with a complimentary hot cup of coffee or tea, or they can head outdoors to explore the town.
** Suites must be paid in full at check-in time.
** Check-in guests must be 21 of age.
We offer complimentary parking in our on-site parking lot, which is located directly behind The Barrington. To ensure a space, please register your vehicle at check-in.
Complimentary breakfast (up to two guests per room) is included and will be served in our dining room – The Great Room. Our breakfasts offer enticing, health-conscious options. Please alert us of any dietary considerations.
At this time, breakfast is the only meal being served. The town of Great Barrington offers lots of restaurants for lunch and dinner. For some suggestions, see Explore/Bites & Beverages. ** Breakfast is served from 8 am to 10 am.
Our rates are based on a double occupancy. A fee of $50 for adults/$45 for children (room & breakfast) per day will be charged for any additional guests.
At The Barrington, we strive to evoke a sense of serenity in our intimate boutique-style setting. Our intimate space is best suited to adults and children 10 and older. Please inquire about the possibility of exceptions.
** Additional guests must be included in the reservation at the time of booking. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate last minute additional guest(s) at check-in time or after check-in.
Each one of our six Queen suites is equipped with a pull-out queen-size sofa bed; the suites can accommodate up to four people

**Suites are for the registered guests only.
NO-SHOWS are charged 100% of the reservation amount.
Cancellation of your reservation made fourteen (14) days prior to your check-in date will not result in any cancellation fees. However, because your booking is reserved specifically for your party, cancellations made fewer than fourteen (14) days prior to the check-in date will be charged for the full amount of the reservation. If we are able to rebook the rooms before your scheduled arrival date, we will charge a service fee equivalent to 10% of your reservation instead.
We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, UnionPay, and Cash.
Taxes: Room rates do not include the 11.7% state room tax, 5.7% state tax, and 6% city tax.
Group Reservations/Cancellation Policy
A group reservation is a reservation of two or more parties who are travelling together and reserve two or more suites for the same time period. A credit card(s) is required to secure the suites. Cancellations must be made sixty (60) days prior to your arrival or you will be charged the full amount of your reservation/stay. In incidences when we rebook the suites, we will provide a refund, but will charge a service fee equivalent to 10% on your reservation instead. We regret that no exceptions can be made to this cancellation policy.
**Our B&B features a limited number of suites, which is ideal for the type of personalized attention we strive to deliver to our guests. This also limits the number of reservations that can be accepted. Our cancellation policy must reflect this. We thank you for your understanding.
For your health and comfort, our property is a no-smoking environment. If smoking occurs on the premises, an additional-cleaning fee of $250 will automatically be charged to your account.
As required by law, Massachusetts fire code, and for the safety and security of our guests, we are unable to permit the use of open flames such as candles, etc.
Our no-pet policy was created to create a more comfortable stay for our guests who have allergies. For those traveling with pets, we can recommend several kennels in the Great Barrington area.
We care about our guests’ privacy. The Barrington’s suites and premises are for use by guests only.
Please respect our policy for quiet time between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am.
